And if it was a joke even from the beginning, it was a very ill-conceived one. Regardless of whether or not it was a joke, it certainly colors the way players will view sB. Either way, it was poor PR.
I did not accuse anyone of lying, but I did express my skepticism. |

I ran into them in HoH today. I asked em about it. They said they decided they had made it so you payed $50 bucks to get in. I basically said 'good luck with that.' And then we both got killed by another lucky team.

I would never pay to join a guild, even if they owned the world. Plus, do you really think they're gonna let you do much anyway?

I just like how people come on here and try to tell SB how to run thier guild. It makes me laugh a lot.

I think it was a smart move of SB, and thumbs up from me. Many celebrities get 80% of their PR through perceived 'scandals', and it works. Maybe it was not necessary as they are already well-known for holding HoH so often... but too many guilds are way too serious, it is nice to have one with a 'bad touch'.
I dont think it was a bad joke, from what I saw, no one was ripped off of any money. It would have been bad if they took the money, invited the person and kicked them again after 10 seconds, but obviously that was not the case. |

Yeah or you could get featured as a guild of the week and get positive publicity. Either way, the Sissy Boys are a bunch of sub-par players who place an emphasis on guild size before all else. Keep recruiting more and playing more GvG, maybe you'lll survive in the top 20 for another month...

lol who is this? the retard of the week? Sissy boys is probably one of the toughest guild to join. We denied about 99.9999% of all the join request we get every day. Rank deosnt mean shit, alot of guilds "zpg, feel so good, war machine" between many farm their way to the top ranks. However this guilds have almsot no chance against pink panther or clan st, on future tournaments. Believe it or not sissy boy is one of the few high rank guild that dint cheat their way to the top. We know how it works, we know who does it, we know arena knows, and we know that punishing this cheat will be the end of about 50% of the top 20 guilds.

lol. you don't look / or pay attention to who has won and is holding the HoH often do you? Almost everytime america looses the HoH there they are trying (and most of the time accomplishing) to win it back for America... I don't know how they do it, but I personally have made it to ~50+ top teir HoH matches with sB and have only managed to win 2!! the funny thing about that is... every time we beat them, I was in a pick-up team... then again when we lost it was in about 5 seconds... don't know how you guys do it, but props to you guys!! |
